randeur, Opulence, Luxury are some of the words that would come to mind when you enter this apartment. This is already a huge property with over 110 square meters in size but the extra high ceiling (nearly 5 meters) makes it look exceptionally over-sized. Rarely one finds these classic, heritage apartments of this enormous size and enduring class these days.

It features a gourmet kitchen complete with microwave, fridge, gas stove, electric oven and much more. Adjacent to the kitchen is an open plan living/dining area. This lounge/dinning area is vast by any standards stretching to nearly 30 square meters in size and stylishly furnished with focus on classical luxury and comfort.

The master bedroom offers a sizable walk-in-robe and a stunning en-suite with bath tub, separate shower room, toilet and vanity. This bedroom itself is massive that we have comfortably fitted a king-sized bed along with a single-bed still leaving plenty of vacant space. This bedroom has the advantage of very high ceiling and brightness from the ceiling high window.

The second bedroom, with built in robes, is very large with high ceilings and tall windows has a king-sized bed that can be split into two single beds when necessary. The 3rd bedroom is also fairly generous in size to fit a king-sized bed and more.

A full second bathroom with shower room, toilet and vanity and laundry facilities are available next to the living room. Laundry includes a washing machine, dryer and ironing board.

BED ARRANGEMENT: 
The three bedrooms each has king sized beds, each of which can be split into two king-single beds on request (to sleep six in total), The master bedroom has an additional single-bed. The lounge room has two double sized pull-out sofa bed (to sleep four). There is enough floor space to add additional roll-away beds when required.

The apartment is listed for 6 people stay, but it can comfortably accommodate up to 11 people. Extra cost applies for additional guests over # 6.

The owners will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked. However the owners reserve the right to make alterations to bookings due to unforeseen circumstances.

To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions.

Number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the owners in advance.

Any extra guests booked over the normal capacity for the unit will reduce the level of privacy.

Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this may result in loss of your bond and/or additional payments.

Damage, Breakages, Theft and Loss are the tenants’ responsibility during their stay.

Departure - the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. Check-out time is 10:00 by the latest, to allow time to prepare property for next guests.

Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental and loss of bond.

Advance booking and payment required for reserving car space. Car size restriction apply (2 m in Height, 2.2 m in Width and 5.2 m in Length). We may not be able to accommodate larger vehicles.

 Security bond A$ 500 is payable at the same time as the balance amount, both of which are due at least 28 days prior to arrival date. If this amount is not received in time, the owner has the right to cancel the booking and attempt to re let it. This bond will be refunded within 14 days in full subject to the above conditions being met. It is designed to cover any additional costs incurred including but not limited to, any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements, extra guests beyond those declared ..etc.

Pets are not allowed unless specific arrangements have been made in writing with the owner.

Loss - the owners take no responsibility for the tenant's personal property.

Variations to these conditions may only be made by prior arrangements with the owner in writing.


Cancellation Policy

50% of the total booking costs will apply as cancellation fees, if a booking is cancelled over 30 days prior to arrival date.

100% of the total booking costs will apply as cancellation fees, if a booking is cancelled under 30 days prior to arrival.

Excellent stay And area kept extremely clean. As for the apartment itself, from the kind, courteous, and friendly owners, to the meticulous, comfortable rooms with very well equipped kitchen, cosy common areas - our experience was nothing less than exceptional. Would definitely recommend to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. Thank you again to the owner for going just that little step extra for their guests!!!

The apartment has a good location, everything we need is within walking distance. It also has fully equipped kitchen. The washing machine didn't work at all, but the host came to repair it within one day notice. And changed it to a brand new one on the next day. The host was very responsive and communicative. Overall, we have a nice stay here and will recommend it to others.

Our family of 8 had a wonderful stay in this lovely apartment. Great location very handy to everything, short walk to the city, tram stop right across the road, supermarket and bottle store just up the road. the apartment itself was fully equipped with everything you need, , and at night the city lights, thank you Kris for a great stay:)

We had a lovely day at Anchor's place. It was our first time in Melbourne so we loved the location as well as all the amenities the apartment had. It was also so nice to stay somewhere clean and modern and Anchor was extremely accommodating with our requests and questions
